Directions:  
Campground:  From Sedalia, take Hwy 50 west to Hwy 23, turn south.  Go 2 miles to
Hwy DD, turn west.  Go 1 mile to the entrance on the left.
Day use trailhead:  Go .04 of a mile further west of the campground.

Miles of Trails:
7 mile loop and linear.

Season:
Year-round.
No hunting allowed here except special managed hunts.  

Fees:
No day use fees.
Basic sites are $6.00 per night.

Equestrian Camping:
Yes, 4 primitive camp sites, on a first come first served basis.

Trail Notes:
Easy to follow trail corridor, hilly terrain, and many creek crossings.  Good amount of wildlife,
plenty of deer to see.  A couple of culverts and one iron truss wooden bridge to cross over.  
Creeks may flood during rainy season and the trail gets very boggy.  Please do not ride this
trail when it's too wet.

Cart/Wagon Driving:
Unknown at this time.  Researching now.

Water Available:
Drinking Water:  Water at campground from April - Oct.
              No water at the day use area.
Water for horses:  Creeks and ponds along the trail.

Other Facilities:
Campground:  Outhouse, trash cans, picnic tables, fire rings,
       tie stalls & corral.
Day use trailhead:  Hitch rails and trash cans.

Other Activities:
Hiking, biking, picnicking, camping, orienteering, wildlife study, hunting and fishing.

Other Services:
Car Care, groceries, & a restaurant:  Sedalia, about 16 miles east.
